What is KFC?

Kong Fit Club is a free club that explores various wellness-minded classes, events, trainers and products. We’re a club not a class because our work isn’t done in an hour, and you can’t find success in one place. We stand for consistency and accountability, recognizing that sweat is the ultimate equalizer and together we can build our best selves.

Kong Fit Club explores the fitness world through Meagan’s lens by shedding light on the people and places that have shaped her body, mind, and soul. Whether it’s the trainer who perfected her form, the boxing class that served as therapy or the hike where she found solace, each event provides members the opportunity to explore what impacts them individually.  

Is KFC free?

Yes! Our fit club newsletter and classes are free of charge for all attendees (unless otherwise noted). However, to help keep free fitness going, we love to share our experiences on socials.

I’ve signed up to join the KFC mailing list, should I have received something?

We only send out one mass email at the end of every month announcing next month’s schedule. Also, check your spam folder, as our emails through Mailchimp can sometimes be pushed there. For more frequent updates, be sure to follow @kongfitclub on instagram.

I RSVP’d for a class, now what do I do?

Once we go through all the responses, we will send a confirmation or waitlist email.  Because there are hundreds of response emails, sometimes it takes up to 48 hours to hear either way. Since it is first-come first-serve, it is important to RSVP as soon as you can.

How many events are there monthly?

We try to do two to three advance scheduled classes per month which are all included in our monthly newsletter blast as well as our website and instagram page. Sometimes we hold Pop-Up events which are announced on our Instagram only. 

What if I end up not being able to attend after I already confirmed?

We completely understand that things come up! PLEASE let us know as soon as you find out you’re no longer available to join a class. We have long waitlists that we can start pulling from in order to get that spot filled. 

What do I need to bring?We will let you know in the reminder email send days before the class, what items are needed for specific classes. 

Can I invite others to join?

Yes, you can definitely invite others to join the mailing list to have access to the events.

*If you’d like to forward our monthly email to a friend, please advise them to email us back directly via a new email chain and not through the forwarded correspondence. Since we use time stamps to create the confirmation list, if a friend responds later from your initial response, it will bump your email out of order.

Can I bring a friend the day of?

Many of our indoor classes become full quickly. If it is one of our outdoor events like a hike or a run, feel free to bring a friend. When in doubt, ask:)

What’s the difference between the KFC schedule and pop up classes?

At the end of each month, we email our members a newsletter with the schedule of KFC workouts for the following month. Sometimes we get lucky and are able to add a class or two that are not on the original monthly schedule. These are our pop up classes, and they will only be announced on our instagram at @kongfitclub.  Follow us and turn on post notifications so you can be the first to hear!

What if I didn’t get into any classes I wanted?

Ugh, bummer! We apologize if this happens, but know that KFC is growing more and more each day and we are doing our best to meet this high demand for free fitness. Remember that access to classes is first come first serve and most classes reach capacity the same day they’re announced.
